When deputies arrived they spoke with a female subject who stated she had been dragged down the roadway and her 4-week old baby had been forcibly taken from her. The suspect was reported to be the baby's father.
According to witnesses, the father forcefully took the child and car seat from the mother's vehicle and when she attempted to stop him an altercation ensued.
